1. 목표

The Seoul Democracy Forum and Workshop aims to share ideas and frames of related institutes’ works on developing democracy indexes viewing South Korean democracy and democratic characteristics in Asia, and discuss their theoretical contributions and limits. The forum and workshop provide the enthusiastic time of intellectual cooperation for creating an alternative frame of the democracy index explaining distinctive phenomena and specificities of politics in Asia beyond the dominant western intellectual frame. The forum and workshop conclude with establishing a consortium for the Asia Democracy Index by cooperation among institutes in South Korea, Philippines and Indonesia.
